"I have wanted to take voice lesson for a few years now, but I never clicked with the teacher that I met. Until I met Lauren that is! It was great that I met her when I did because I had signed up to audition for X Factor and really needed some vocal help.
There was an instant connection between us and there was no hesitation in getting straight to work. She never gave me an opportunity to be nervous of shy as we started singing right away. She put me completely at ease and from the first lesson I heard an improvement in my voice. Thanks to Lauren, I got a gold ticket from X Factor and made it until the last round!I would highly recommend Lauren as a voice teacher. She is great ad cool and very chill and the CD's that we get back of our lesson are great"
I've seen tons of improvement, but most importantly what other people have told me about my voice. My band members in particular. We hadn't been playing for about a month and when I came back, everyone was talking about and really complimented on my voice...just within a month they were already able to tell the difference in my voice.~Mariana F., voice student
My daughter began taking both singing and guitar lesson two years ago and is making incredible progress. Soon after my daughter, I decided to "go for it" and try lessons myself. I looked for another teacher not wanting to 'cloud the line' between my daughter's goal to be a professional and mine to just have fun with it. The other teacher was competent, but I felt I was lacking something in my strumming on the guitar.
After a couple of years, I saw how well my daughter was playing in proportion to me. I decided to ask Lauren, to teach me to play guitar. After a few lessons, I was thrilled at how specific the lessons are and how competent I felt and still feel when I follow her thorough, yet easy steps to learning a song. I have learned different strumming patterns, proper hand placement and so much more. Though I may not be Keith Richards or Jimi Hendrix, I am reliving my youth when I practice guitar and feel successful at it now.
I drive up from Bridgewater which is about an hour drive. The reason I do that is because its been hard to find a really good teacher where I'm from. I've been looking to work with a professional, someone that really knows how to teach & performs & knows what I want to do. It's really hard to find a teacher like that....I taught myself guitar for a bout a year or two...In the past four months I've gotten much better than in the past two years.~ Kevin, voice and guitar student
The improvement in my voice have been tremendous and very quick actually. My range has improved and I feel like the overall quality has improved. It's got more a depth to it now which I like. I started taking lessons because singing was a hobby of mine that I wanted to get back into...Now that I can hear my voice improving I am becoming a lot more ambitious and I'm starting to audition for bands which is really fun. I'm really grateful to Lauren for helping me do this. It's great. My life is becoming pretty cool.Helen, voice student
I like how Lauren could diagnose a problem in the sound and immediately give me and exercise to work on that and to explain what it's feeling like but then also explain what it shouldn't be feeling like....Lauren really cares about her students and their development....Most teachers that I have worked with never cared about the performance aspect and applying some of the things I'm learning."~ Karina, voice student
I think you're an excellent teacher and I've really enjoyed working with you...I have learned more from you in the past 20 minutes than I have learned in the last 5 years."- Rachel B.
My range has definitely improved a lot. My lower range and higher range was a little shaky and wasn't very strong and I've definitely seen a huge improvement." "You've been very helpful and I have seen huge changes in my voice since I started. I can't thank you enough!"~ Vanessa, voice student
Thank you. I could feel my voice was more relaxed the day after our lesson. The exercises really helped."~ Tracy
I'm a 53 year old lawyer with three teenagers. I started taking lessons with Lauren last year and I can honestly say its one of the best decisions Ive made. I have no music background and no “natural talent”, but I love music…I look forward to my weekly lessons because it’s a total change from the rest of my life. Her approach is steady and gauged towards results.. After a year, I m playing the Stones, Eagles and Buffet with enough skill to earn compliments from my wife and kids, difficult critics to say the least." - George M, guitar student
Thank you so much. You've totally givenKarenthe bug witthe Coffeehouse. You ou are an absolute huge influence on her. I can't thank you enough. We look forward to another year of lessons with you....We are so proud of her & we absolutely love you as a teacher. You've kept her motivated. I don't think she would have stuck with it if she had any other teacher. ~Karen's Mom, guitar student"

Did you know that most voice and guitar teachers out there have little or no mistake that so many students do! Lauren is one of those rare teachers who actually has went through elite music teaching training. This means that YOU (her student) are the one who ultimately benefits from her unique set of skills, training and experience. ~ Tom Hess, master guitarist for Rhapsody of Fire, solo artist, and mentor
